Sanitation and Water Services Storm drains and flood control facilities are provided by the City of Westlake Village: In Westlake Village (Thousand Oaks) the water supplier is: The sewer service, storm drains and flood control facilities are provided by the City of Thousand Oaks: Westlake Village receives all Los Angeles stations and several stations from nearby cities such as Oxnard and Santa Barbara. To receive television transmission, cable service is required. The service also enables the viewer to receive national transmissions. Its friendliness, mild climate, housing, health care and recreational services have drawn seniors from around the nation. Senior centers are located in Agoura Hills and Thousand Oaks. At the Goebel Senior Center in Thousand Oaks, the Conejo Recreation and Park District offers a full range of activities, workshops, seminars, trips, sports and classes. Special meal services for seniors are available through the "Meals on Wheels" programs offered by the Westlake Village Meals on Wheels and Conejo Valley Senior Concerns. The Ventura County Senior Nutrition Program serves lunches Monday through Friday at the Goebel Senior Center.
